Every single days's the same (Acrostic) (Concrete) by [mojo]
(An acrostic has the first letters reading a phrase, hey, you knew that right! :) Every morning he reaches for the Valium by the bed, Electric alarm clock shattered silence, Ringing loudly in his head. Yesterday's gone, today's almost dead. So here's another terrible day, In this merry life, it's who you know Not what you know, that tends to see you through, Go to work, come home, it always goes the same, Late because the tube stations' Escalators were broken again. Do you have to follow, Always life's empty plan, Your life's empty and hollow, 'Cos your existance is mostly sorrow, So make of it what you can. Today could be different, He could make it something new, Every day could be a fresh start So long promised, but realised by few, A futile attempt to be content and free, Maybe someone somewhere makes it through, Everyone deserves happiness to a degree.

Up the ladder: Scurvey
Down the ladder: My Son is...a prayer.
