Mist and Moonlight (Free verse) by jdsnyd
Your feet never touch the earth In dreams you walk in soft mist of celestial descent Caressed lovingly along the moonlit lines of your skin Gentle winds stir your hair and garments Like an apparition I watch you, and I become... The mist that orbits and carries you across nocturnal fields The moonlight falling on the lines of your form Framed and placed on the walls of memory The wind that moves through your hair and gown The careful wisp of warm air moving over your mouth Down your long slender neck to the nape Where I rest and breath in your bouquet In dreams I am unrestrained by this anatomy Released to love you as you should be loved The symbiotic entity enouncing your beauty The warm breeze embracing you The mist and moonlight that you walk in

Down the ladder: Killing me.
