The Silent Musing (Free verse) by seebergerb
I'll lie awake for the shouting of the stars, for my mother's voice, delicate and like a golden tear beneath the timbre of the rain, I'll wait and listen for the thunder, for the crashing of the trees and the blooming of those around me - for soon, for soon the life I know will reveal and become something grander, wilder, vibrant and sensual, and patience is the waiting ring.

Up the ladder: Laundry
Down the ladder: Daughter
