You put me on the top-of-the-world lookin down on the others Like the comedy kings and queen of hearts And a schoolground full of young lovers So i'm still reaching out to Jupiter and pulling in Mars With my head in my hands and my thoughts in the stars And my, eyes open to blue skies, my dreams in the clouds You put me on the top of the world And I now know I never wanna get out Cos I've been and seen so many places I'm Bad with names, not good with faces But i'll never forget those eyes that made me crave to smile Now I'm flicking through the lonely heart pages Looking at life at every single stage but I Never caught me wondering for longer than a little while I was just another lost and found The silent voice in a wall of sound And I lost myself on well known ground When I'm wrapped in thoughts of who I wanted to be Stuck on a train to nowhere bound Now you are free to believe in me. Cos you... Put me on the top-of-the-world lookin down on the others Like the comedy kings and queen of hearts And a schoolground full of young lovers So i'm still reaching out to Jupiter and pulling in Mars With my head in my hands and my thoughts in the stars My eyes open to blue skies, my dreams in the clouds You put me on the top of the world Looking down... And I now know I never wanna get out.
