My Ease (Free verse) by swift_enterprises
If only I could give up this Mad old crusade Accept some simple joys To build, brick-by-brick My ease Though heaven profane and ignore Infinitely this sad Mission Nothing but the ghost Can call me, finally, home. There, they say, is rest. But how Could it be anything but empty? These are the notes of my transit To that end, when everything else is given.

Up the ladder: Casus Belli
Down the ladder: Tainted
