Sun in my Middle (Free verse) by anitawit
1 The sun blooms in my very middle And bursts to consume As in epicentre of this quake That trembles my foundation I dissolve, I disintegrate I burn up with the sun 2 The volatile sun in my middle Trembles in all directions Bound at the edges it cannot break through Subverts to burn the very source I carry now A collapsed star and ghost light

Up the ladder: Local Boy Makes Good
Down the ladder: A Thousand Lives
