In the Way (Free verse) by confuzdlilgirl
Being held back because of something in the way what future holds secretly tucked away letting go too hard, letting by too easy caught in the middle, making everything uneasy trying left, but something pulls back try right but, something begins to lack Finding there is nothing but holding on seeing its all right if just weren't so wrong if wasn't that problem that's in the path if wasn't that obstacle, that stays in the past trying to go and leave the in between wanting to go wrong for what it could mean causing one to be blind and not see before eyes something engraved they know are lies been brought up to think it couldn't be until it happens and finally see a problem that fills it all with hate it stands as a wall in the way of fate wanting a decision in order to learn but something in the way with nowhere to turn only thing leading is the feeling inside wanting to follow, but wanting to hide knowing what is right, but goes a different way not knowing what will lead into following day Living the feeling of heart within But knowing it must come to an end So leads into an unknown time Knowing it wont last, so stays behind the line Wanting to be, but knowing wont last So lives the future as if the past Is left with still one question more Still stuck in the middle, where started before.

Up the ladder: The Thought of You
Down the ladder: Creep into my heart
