I want people to listen to me, hear about me But the only thing they could see Is my sadness, that's what I'm about They think I'm like a book or something So I'll show them one thing... (Refrain) I can only see my reflection on the wall They won't care so I don't care for them all I want to be understood and until I'm done In my life, you are the only one People look at me and ask me "why?" With all my depression, I feel I could die They don't know, and think I'm high But since they never heard, my life was all a lie Because... (Refrain) I hate all their impressions of my life So I'm hoping that they might Go away, I ask this question every day Since... (Refrain x2) I want them to go away, just like you did
