eerie foggy day (Free verse) by nonee
Fog is all around, cold wind cuts through, Leaves shiver and go cold, The lowlands feel it too. Somewhere far, away from my window A soft candle flame, is what I see. Continues to burn, with hopes all high Struggling against every bit For it's righteous path. Flickering in the strong winds, But thriving against . Spreading the light, for me to see. asking, not to throw my hopes away Opening the door for me. To, walk on my two feet again, Yes, I want to live my life Not just efface it all away in this eerie little world...... on this crazy foggy day .

Up the ladder: Tomorrow
Down the ladder: the shape
