A Wasted Day (Other) by Joyleaf
I had motivation yesterday. Then two guys came by to fix an appliance. "We'll be back tomorrow, between ten and noon," they said as they walked out the door. So I stayed at home today. I waited. I waited for a long time. I ate some cereal with strange, dry marshmallows. I waited some more. It becomes obvious that these two guys are not returning. I would trade all of my marshmallow cereal for a job right now. But not today. Maybe tomorrow.
