Pixie Wings And Rose Petals (Free verse) by onlyontuesdays
Fiery footsteps fall Along the echoing hallway of The crimson blush of dawn. Starlit angel feathers drift From ballroom to ballroom, Amongst stars, apparitions, and midnight flickers, Searching for a prayer. The river Styx snakes along the shores Of Chaos, Emotion, and Infinity, A single oar performing the sojourn entire. Moonlit chambers come alive With the hypnotic slow-dancing of Silk and rose petals, As outside, The wheat waves gingerly, Amidst thread, dafodils, and diamond rings. Pixie wings whisper with no voices Along the soft, inevitable breeze, As Morgana's Fiery footsteps fall Along the echoing hallway of The crimson blush of dawn.
