And on and on and on (Free verse) by nentwined Failing, flailing
Trying to find purchase
In a barren, dusty dream of sand
That once was land
Nothing I ever do is good enough
For me. The next step overcomes
A chasm, but all I see is depth;
Or if not that, then further on is
Nothing gained in any case, just
On and on and on.
And on and on and on and on
And on.
