I found you. (Free verse) by Gillon
I found you. You were not who I thought you would be. You were different than I thought you would be. I was not sure what I was looking for, I did not even know if I would know if I found you. You were different, I had been searching for so long. There were many mistakes, So many times I was mistaken It's hard to tell when you don't even know. Many things come, sometimes we think we have found the one, only to find out we have not. Sometimes we do not think we have found anything, yet later we see that we have found something. It's always like this. One does, but they think they have not. They have not, but have. Found. To find and realize, to know and acknowledge, to find and to realize. To have and to cherish. In our lives, there is no real possession, only rental. We cannot own. we cannot own another. We can only share. To share is what we dream of, to share is what makes life real. To share is the best our lives have to offer. We live to share. So few will ever know what it is to share. Share our hopes, our dreams, our understanding our vision, our best. I found you. I will share, we will dream, we will work, create live. I found you.
