An Ode to Teenage Pimple Poets. (Ode) by Y2kSlamPoet
Let me whisper to you the finer points of poetic law, 'cause breaking it can result in a bruised 'n broken jaw! Uninspired rhyming causes us all to smile, & our hearts leap at the chance to be vile! Cliche prattle which mentions your emo-spawned soul quickens our need for a dripping needle in the hole. Your drivel shines like methamphetamine so glittery white, 'causing us to twitch 'n thrash in revulsion at night. Your poems are a cascade of uninspired crap brimming with the detritus of youth, pubescent emotions blooming. Our response to such displays of low-grade young writing is to fill the air with the sound of frustrated screaming. Woe to you, gripped in this particular sad stage of life, who hasn't yet come to understand the pains of real strife. Woe to you whose cure for pain involves the use of a knife. We wish that you would reconsider sharing such poetry. Your lousy & unimaginative writing is far from lovely; it 'causes our critique to be insultingly rude & lively.

Up the ladder: Hurt
Down the ladder: On Any Given Day...
