black widow (Free verse) by ThePariahDog
transformation taking place in your absence, changing shape isolated, bare and room dreaming of the cocoon womb climb inside, wrapped with sin warm and snug, in white linen a familiar sharp, stinging pang wakes me when i recall your name the pain now pulsing, ebbing numb through my veins its course does run tender memories torn to few i'm dead inside but emerge anew

Up the ladder: Personal Observation
Down the ladder: Nantucket
