honey suckle (Free verse) by Freethinker1602
a sweet intoxicating fragrance the air heavy with it honey suckle so strong, a head full dizzying, inundating, calming this high hits her like a train breaking her to her knees blacking out her vision taking her life, she gives in the forgiving honey suckle breathes a resurrection to her lips it becomes her reason to inhale, to exhale to continue on it is her strength, and also her weakness her addiction so sweet it fills her lungs from her lungs to her heart from her heart to her head this high flows through her veins through her body every inch awakened and alive a glowing smile blesses her face she feels it flowing through her filling every inch from her toes through her clothes an electric charge now a plane of peace she rests alive yet in limbo a bed of honeysuckle infusing her surrounding every inch drugging her, dragging her deeper she surrenders to the flower floating surreal she's sinking beneath these bushes they take her deeper she is completely content you should see her face you would see truth in it honey suckle blooms and dies every year but her honey suckle flower will bloom indefinitely

Up the ladder: imagery imaginary
Down the ladder: Cyclone
