did I already post this haha (Free verse) by Freethinker1602
Call me angel at night Just don't tempt me Far from earth do spirits wander Begging to be brought back to solid ground Begging to be happy Beggin to have a home Begging for love These spirits know not what they dream, Nor who they should love What should they trust? This tarnished hope for truth? Or the sinful tides of others? What or who should they be? What happens when the spirit dies And the body lives on? Are they banished to a life of loss? How do these angels of pain live, In such a world of torment and uncertainty? Can they live with out stopping to grieve? Why do these angels search when there is no answer? Or any one to hear their prayers, no good Samaritan?
