Fighting Peacefully. (Free verse) by LucidRevelation
Float through my mind sail across my eyes let me breathe you in. bathe in my thoughts and bask in the sunlight of my dreams let me protect you. You move through the darkness like silk in the wind and when the moonlight strikes you upon your face I can see the scars of your life Let me touch you like you have never been touched before I promise to be gentle and I'll pretend that I don't see how you ache for the other side of life. I'm not like the wind I can't push you around. but I will take you out from underneath your rock let me protect you. I won't be around forever so take me now.

Up the ladder: Snake (Yin)
Down the ladder: Ifni's birthday

I think Michael Bolton has a song like this. Or maybe it was Enya.

I suggest that all poems containing the following words be deleted: dusk, dawn, moonlight, sunlight, sunsets, dew, mist and wind (unless preceded by the word break)
