Today is another day (Free verse) by Prince of Void
Today is another day However I missed yesterday Hopefully I still have today So I've just washed my face thorough the reflection of toilet mirror into holes of the sink....... returning and ready to follow steps of the days Whatever happens, I'll follow steps one after another In the pursuit of what I dreamed The dreams what I never let them die away Though my childhood dreams faded away Like all yesterdays Abandoned behind all gloomy sunsets The sullen sky sank into the darkness of ignoresا What I should do after all After engraving years after years Silently shedding tears for them Keeping regrets like long walls around me Let fears of being lost in my last breathe But I wish all my thoughts were wrong Running fast like a kid without thinking Who is following you or whom you're following? I know I'm not a kid any more Whatever it was Now it's something else I used to think the world is too big But the world is just as big as the way from my home to work And the life is shorter than a day So let's follow steps of the day Thorough my own way To the kind of happiness is just mine

if you're happy from point a to b, as you've defined here, then you're good to go my friend

thorough the reflection of toilet mirror--
....? through? hmmm? You know, if your going to be depressive and write a poem about it for worthless bastards like me to read, could you do me a favor?

Could you atleast make it interesting? Please? And original? Without the befuddled flow and the gutted speech? Or the cliches like "I used to think the world was too (so) big?

I have these thoughts too. But, see, I've learned that such thoughts written and shared doesn't amount to poetry-- it only gives proof to everyone that you didn't have something worth writing about.

Five.
