Foreign film (Free verse) by richa
I had no idea you were a fascist under that soft Spanish skin and those syllables. When that man shouted you down he was I and I could not have you let me off without flickering, rage is close to sadness and I could not love the whores of Tijuana deeply or the beautiful apostates if they did not rage at the handsome storm that blew brutish through true America.

Up the ladder: If mogwai made a Pencil
Down the ladder: Sand

Enjamb if you want to, but I think a period is needed after flickering. Perhaps a title about subject matter; I know it's a film, but does that really matter? I think the second verse is better than the first because of the nebulous fascist reference.
