Prescription of Pain (Lyric) by Miggy
The imagery is gone The romance is dead Ever since all my best thoughts Began escaping from my head And I fail to move My still, still world These escapes of paradise Are being placed at hold (Chorus) The taste and color are both a dull grey From your decision not to stay ------------------------------------- Used to feel life in my heart again Used to have strength one couldn’t bend But shots of despair came into play This prescription of pain in now here to stay The birds used to chirp The flowers used to blossom Then winter rolled into my July And made these calm symphonies hostile I am left in a box Cardboard at least in feeling No longer am I encompassed in might But rather sent utterly reeling (Chorus) Sick with this mental cold This saddened state of mind From your decision to fold A guaranteed five-of-a-kind (Chorus/Ending)

Up the ladder: man v.s. world
Down the ladder: Ramblings of a Clerk
