Disbelief is Deadly (Free verse) by ifni better safe than sorry,
they thought,
and shared the terror-
milling
crowds of people,
and we've seen too many
of those,
these days-
under showers of falling buildings,
running from clouds of death;
standing around,
just staring.
These days,
disbelief is
deadly.

And here I was all this time thinking that ignorance was bliss.
Interesting, but this doesn't exactly reflect my thoughts on Sept 11.
