From the first time I heard your name spoken My heart was already choking Cause it had to fight to stay protected As if it was in infected With some kind of uncureable diease So sweet but deadly it brought me to my knees From the first time I was informed of your heart I wished that I'd never hear of it falling apart That I could hold to it keep it from harm I'd treat it right tend to it like it had an alarm One that never had to go off as long as I'm around I never knew something so amazing could never be found From the first time I saw you I thought a second chance was true Staring up towards the clouds above I recall wondering if I might have found a dove My heart lifted as if it was light like a feather Upon your wings my pain was all better From the first time I looked in your eyes I knew I was looking at someone who would tell me no lies Witnessed the ice melt off my insides Wishing my feelings wasn't something I hind But for one chance to let them show with you I'd take on the world if I knew you felt them too
