Lifes edge (Free verse) by donmiguel1960
A razors edge jagged and tattered Life's troublesome days ripping there way Ideas unclear, broken and scattered As years pass on by, skies darkened and grey Understand not, the lives that we live Just to carry on faithfully day after day All that's expected, we continue to give Our souls every strength, darkens to grey There's no vision to carry our hopes up on high No glorious plan that makes it alright No peaceful dove, that sores through the sky Only lost dreadful dreams, that seem so contrite An endless fall, hitting rocky harsh cliffs Smashing the boulders with force never known A pain so aware, that always persists A sadness that lingers, to deaths final groan Life ends in the winter, when summer is gone No memories of spring to brighten the days No strength in the body, a sacrificed pawn Children bewildered, in a cold frozen gaze

Up the ladder: Winter on the Moon
Down the ladder: The Invisible
