The Monday Hangover (Lyric) by Miggy
A six-thirty alarm roars through the room The first thought of my mind comes about food Not thinking at all or even my best I go outside without being dressed As clues of last weekend appear mysteriously Another headache’s gotten hold of me The cheering, the jeering, the screaming It’s not part of today The sleeping, the feasting, the pissing Will not help me this Monday White dribbles colors what is a black plane The man’s tone is painfully the same The peers chatter about my performance As my energy becomes less and less Some more clues of last weekend appearing before me With that girl eyeing me consciously The black eye, the red eye, the good-bye Are already hurting my way The good lie, the bad lie, the no lie All being picked up on this Monday And as Tuesday through Thursday comes around I’m that talk of the school and of the town Just want all of this to be explained now The rebound, the too proud, the mad crowd Were all involved yet had nothing to say The shout-out, the make out, the blackout Is what I’m putting away this Monday

Up the ladder: Die unsowed
Down the ladder: Broken bridge
