I would but glance
And take you for a nettle
Surely I would touch
Your breath and
Know you as a kettle
I'd stay the heat
To watch you boil
And bear your stings
To feel you coil
Never more will I become
Your harbinger in red
A poisoned dream in black and white
All nestled in your head
