My Barber Cut My Hair Too Long (Free verse) by D. $ Fontera
My heart's a little young. You never loved me. A flat tire. A healthy adjustment to the 21st century. Plum pudding is ecstasy. I needn't mention December 7. Jordan stole my height. Luther used my nail. All breakfasts end politely. Images come. Movies go rapidly. The Earth isn't flat yet. Fencing is art. Jury. Man lights cigars. Wormholes seem frightening. Harvard never happened for some. A pipecleaner works. Only kites fly for sure. The barber steals. ^ Don't trust poets.

Up the ladder: Tale of a lonely heart
