My Resuscitating Love (Free verse) by Silverjackel
Reminiscent of love long past, My mind forever squandering, My memories could not elapse As my thoughts were always sauntering. The happiest occurrences Impeded my daily routine, As my mental concurrences Would always intervene. My love for her was eternal, And remained fervent after she passed, But my sleep was not nocturnal, And this feeling could not last. Yet finally, a miracle, You came into my life, Your love for me was not satirical, Just as it had been with my wife. You saved me from oblivion, For my life had gone astray, Yet you nurtured me back into health, By your loving, tender ways. And now, you are the only one That ruminates my mind; And like the rising morning sun You are one of a kind.

Interesting concept, and very linguistically impressive. 'Miracle/Satirical' is one of the more innovative rhymes in recent posts!

I loved it honestly...Even though I don't know the second word in the title...
