He Kissed Me (Free verse) by PoeticXTC
Leaned in slowly Til our lips met; Anxious. Our hearts racing, t'was night we won't forget. A moment WELL over due A feeling SO worth the wait; Satisfied. Your heart in my hands; A tightly gripped fate. This moment shouldn't end. Lips, locked; Perfection. Once is never enough Twice more our lips docked. Reunited souls should again part; Never. Wanting this to last forever. Compassion is endless Our future is set Our hearts still racing T'was a night we'd never forget. He kissed me softly Hearts continued to beat, Endless. He kissed me forever Til' again we'd meet.
