Trust Exercise (Free verse) by proteusplum
None of you knew where I really was The day I fell back And no-one caught me. I was falling through clouds Of your reassuring words, watching How they dissipate up close like clouds. Falling past your many fingers Noting how they pointed Straight down. And I finished up flat Upon my back, but rather that Than in your hands.

Down the ladder: Communion
