Dark's Nest (Free verse) by cyan9
Gasping for the rimose intricacy of truth, Running from the gallows whilst you tie your own noose; Again you can't believe in substance to this dream. Wolves howl in unison as darkness floods the room, Sorrows visions appear and no-one sheds a tear; Again you can't believe that you are this dream. Skulls glisten and broken bones twist in this prison Like macabra puzzleboard that reaps draining rewards. I will take you hither where the last good angel dreams. Psychotic laughter beckoning forever happily everafter. My mind exhausted and departed; but nothing never sleeps.

Up the ladder: Pancakes
Down the ladder: The Awesome One
