It can take your chance to say goodbye
It can steal your breath
Send gracious tidings for your death
Rip your soul from within you
Make you too tired to even continue
Turn the path you have selected
Leave you lost, alone, and rejected
It can slam down your hopes
Tie you motionless under heavy ropes
Shatter your dreams into dust
Destroy your heart with one fatal thrust
It can close your eyes to the night
It can block out every shred of light
Dims the sounds that fill your head
Leave you cold and shivering dead
One second can change your life

In one second my little brother can fit an entire Big Mac in his mouth.
Sounds like Eminem for some reason. Maybe I read it too fast.
