Life (Free verse) by imnotgoodatpoetry
Here in new york I have the life A world free of stress and strife Traffic jams all the time, every day Then I make it to work In a ten by ten space I must stay Go home, in a traffic jam still Get home to the usual stack of bills Go to bed in my tiny apartment that I can’t afford And get up and do it some more Yup, I got the life Free of stress and strife

Up the ladder: Mistress
Down the ladder: Confusion
