And black blinks back
My eyes are open
Will not open
Who snuck in
And sewed them shut?
Was it you
Whose cunning fingers
Twisted tendrils
Not yet thought
And spoke so sweetly
Thoughts made me
Dumbly do this deed unseen?

Down the ladder:
Then things forgotten inside
