I hate you too U2 (Free verse) by D. $ Fontera
A spider Long-legged and hairy Crawled up the back of my leg my neck my head And it forced its tingling body Far into the depths of my ear Now shivering I shake tears from my swollen eyes As I feel his footsteps Send a loud spidery beat Throughout my sinuses My brain As the lump in my throat tightens I press my pinkie finger Into the canal And I feel a wetness The crunch of spider flesh A shattered exoskeleton And no way to get it out Then Out of nowhere comes Bono With his wailing notes And I cry again Only this time in horror Disgust Pain

Up the ladder: 16-66
Down the ladder: Urbane Jane

Hey, no one's done that wordplay before!

PS-I liked the spider-in-the-ear. But any poem that uses multiple linebreaks for dramatic pauses or the passing of time is an automatic minus-2. Sorry, those are the rules.
