Amputation (Free verse) by Enkidu I cut my brother off today
He couldn't get a job
He wouldn't get a job
He shouldn't get a job
So I cut him off
My doctor said he'll be contagious
For the next three to fifty-seven years
My dentist said that my brother
Is a no-good lousy bum
I'm glad I cut him off before those symptoms showed
Besides, it only hurt for a little while
And I saved a load of money.
