Run Away (Free verse) by sacred_poet_me
Here he comes, But there she goes. She ran away, a face of a deep red tomato. Running away from embarrassment, running away from shame, emotions that appeared from nowhere, out to attack her again. Another chance, another opportunity, a hope for a future, lost again. Running away, she pretends to know nothing, tries to ignore the awkward moment, to bury the humiliation. But none of this will work, because now he is left standing alone, rejected, clueless, why is she running away? The start of something new, the start of anything new, is gone forever, never to be seen again, until next time, when she will run away.

Up the ladder: Air Guitar
Down the ladder: The Angle of your Downfall
