stumbling into love (Free verse) by sungoesdown
Tip-toe around the terminology. Unsure of the response, Slight possibilities silence That which screams within. Do you hear it, too? Give thanks To What I don't know, Because every morning I wake up with a surprise. A smile. Insecurities that surface With the world's favorite vice, Upon reflection reveal That I am (at last) Alive. With every tomorrow, I can see you smile As you look away And feel my eyes Still upon you. The shouting is reinforced And my concerns give Much to look forward to, Because I need nothing more Than this.

Up the ladder: The huntsman's shame
Down the ladder: Suicide.....
