Freedom (Free verse) by shadows freedom is knowing
that we are all just watching
shadows on the wall,
knowing we are shackled to the deep undergrounds of
ignorance, bound by our own existance
to our near intolerable human condition.
freedom is knowing that even
if we were all 100% free in the most democratic of ways
no one would be any happier
because freadom is realizing that masses
are safer with out it,
realizing that they are safer thinking they are more free
than they are or ever could be

Freedom is not realizing that the masses are safer without it.
This poem is utterly illogical. Bush actually says it better, and that's saying a lot.
