Faces (Free verse) by D. $ Fontera
My face is black My face is white My eyes are green in hue Hazel-brown or Yellow-gold Perhaps they could be blue My hair is bleached It's full of dreads Somewhat longish short Black and red and brown and blonde Sometimes the baldish sort My nose is large My lips are wide These ears are huge They cannot hide My lips are thin My nose is small These ears Cannot be seen at all My furrowed brow It mocks my lashes Tattoos often hide my gashes I glad my face Is as it is It is Mine Not Hers or His

Up the ladder: When the muse calls.
Down the ladder: Charms
