Portables (Free verse) by Shardik
His fence is high, and white Yard immaculately landscaped There are some large Pacific flowers Growing to the sky off of the back patio He listens to his portable radio In the sun, I wonder, what station? Sounds like a shortwave, Remotely Japanese.

Up the ladder: A River Ran Through It
Down the ladder: Fourteen
