Lost (Free verse) by Sweet Cheese
Sudden sound of explosions made us rush out from the barrack. Rifle in hand, we're ready to fight. Explosion, the ground splashed. The machine gun rang from right to left, killing anyone who dared to go on. We split our way. Fine, everything was just fine, until an enemy's bullet snapped to your chest. I screamed in disbelief, the ravens flew in disperse. You were falling to the ground. I put down my gun, running over your collapsing body. Memory with you, was suddenly replayed. The sky just looked like going to rain, Don't you remember me, sunny after rain. I begged you to be as conscious as you could, everything would be fine. Your head in my arm, my shivering hand holding your bloody hand, my eyes looking at your melancholic smile. Everything would just be fine, I kept reminding you our dream was yet accomplished; You wanted to re-open our stall, I wanted to continue my high school. I could no more hold back my tears, it fell. Yet you said my effort was futile, asking me to leave you, but how could I leave you? Your smile faded away, your head slowly fell to the ground, I was startled; you couldn't wake by my shaking. Tears flowed along with the rain, I yelled in sorrow.
