scarecrow saviour (Free verse) by skaskowski
You were a movement under the fallen leaves, a torrent of clothing discarded by the trees had displaced you from standing and left you stuck and panting for the brisk and crisp autumn air to blow back through your hair. I saw a hand poking through and stretched my wooden arm out and you grabbed and tugged but only clutched a twig to wave desperately after.

Up the ladder: ~haiku~
Down the ladder: He Kissed Me
