Won't Be Dreaming (co-writer John K) (Lyric) by capachijim
I wish I caught you staring, I can't figure out if you’re caring, That was funny when you said You’d love me always Hearing your voice as it calls my name, It makes the feeling all the same. That was funny when you said I was the one for you I'm bottled up, I’m crying out, I’ve got nothing left to say. <Chorus> So if I turn back now, Things will never be the same. And I don't understand how, I'm overcome with all this shame. It’s impossible to love you like that again It’s a shame what we had had to end But I won’t be dreaming of you tonight Though I can't say that we're even friends, This love comes to haunt me again, That was stupid of me to think You would want me back Forgive me for loving you too much I guess my heart and soul wasn’t enough That was funny when you said You had to go away The night shines down, And all my fears come out, And there's nowhere to escape. <Repeat Chorus> <Bridge> I'm not afraid no longer, I've just become stronger, That was funny when you said I wouldn’t make it without you <Repeat Chorus 2x>
