GONE (Free verse) by gayguy2005
Your gone, but were ever really here to begin with? How can you miss that you never had? You try to imagine try to guess hope to dream what would have been perfect. Far away. That’s the distance, that I’d have to travel, to be where you are, safe and secure there in your arms. I don’t understand why I have to wait, I feel like a child, on Christmas day, waiting my turn to tear the wrapping away. I make a memory up, make a memory up, just to make me smile, just to make it seem that I have something that I’d be so scared to lose. It seems like forever, forever and a day, and a day, and a day that I have to wait, so that I can be there with you. Eternity seems so long, but now that I know, eternities aren’t as long as they once were, just how long I have to wait. I know that I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, all that you are, is just a, dream. But still the silence, echoes with your voice, with your voice that I made up, not really yours, and its something that I’m, scared to lose. Your gone, but were ever really here to begin with? How can you miss that you never had? You try to imagine try to guess hope to dream what would have been perfect.

you are = you're

pretend that for every comma, you will loose 10 readers; take them all out and put them back where they are really, really needed.

Unless you are Kirk, then have at it.
