A Word to the Servant (Free verse) by nothingtoanyone
With thy mere mortal I shall only look upon you with the eyes of my ears. Me being not as worth as thou I shall not only love you with a piece of my heart, but give my life were that it is needed. Unfit for the life that of the King’s High Court I merely lurk in the lutes of my shadows. My Lords Shadows there thy proudly stands. There is were thy is as admired as a victor of war. Where is there one might ask? Well there is anywhere and everywhere that ones given order by one of higher status. Thy shall not feel self pity for one should know that, that is ones place and in that place one should feel as at home as a King in his throne.
