Ephemeral

As the sun shall I rise As a miracle shall I happen Like a flake of snowy white, Like a knife shall I threaten As the storm shall I be, Like a scorpion in the night, Like a rose forever bleed, A raven staring at the sky, As a raindrop shall I fall, As a child shall I dream, Like the night encover all In her comforting realm, As a planet shall I spin Then lay tired on your lap, Like a tattoo on your skin, A memory only you caress, As a star shall I shine Innocence faded will re-glow Carry away tears of your eyes Cause as a river I will flow, As a cloud shall I pass As a letter must be sent Like a labourer I will rest Much like this poem shall I end.
