rushing life through my days.
The most essential part
finding way in a foggy haze.
Your very reflection
brings forth forces unseen.
A desired affection calming
the storm, bodies serene.
A tender gaze and devoted
gifts are pictured by all.
In zeal your coated sending
your peace to the very small.
The glory has come in
knowing your there.
Sweet as a plum
with beauty so rare.
My love, my wife
Iâve missed you so much.
Waiting all my life
for the mend of your touch.

i like that the last line is out of meter and out of rhyme, however the ametered fourth line feels somewhat awkward; thematically, no comment, a classic ode
