Yesterday is gone tomorrow is today (Free verse) by singinkygal
I feared this foreboding future in a past date Though we ventured on knowing our fate Fearlessly we soared dancing and laughing not caring about tomorrow only having the time of our lives But now tomorrow has become today Bitterness has set in and desolation in the place where happiness used to run as sweetly as milk and honey Smiles and laughter, now nothing is funny Tension has filled the walls built on a strong foundation The foundation still stands though theres no chance of reconciliation Friendship was a term thrown into the wind It was nice to be there but, we'll never go back again

Up the ladder: regret
Down the ladder: discovery

Normally I would say "I love it, you're very talented" but since everything that's happened lately, I just want to say I'm sorry, but you're still very talented, and I love you
