Innocence Having Been Lost

So..................................................... In the name of Allah, terrorists “lop off” the heads of innocent victims,And in the name of God, our “smart bombs” continue to slaughter thousands of old men, women, and children, Saddam Hussein killed multitudes of his own people, While George Bush misled his own people into a war of death, destruction,dishonor,and shame! Oh the joy......... the promise of love and peace on earth, The ideal of human beings having lived at their best, A time that has come and gone, innocence having been lost....... perhaps forever! No more “good guys,” no more “bad guys,” just cold, hard steel......... conscience-seared robots following “their sacred orders” to kill “the enemy!”
